JCIA holds business study workshops with the aim of taking advantage of the information provided by the workshop and would like executives and regular employees of the member societies to have better understanding of the domestic and international themes, in which the member societies are highly interested and which are likely to have an impact on their cooperative insurance operations.
The first business study workshop for fiscal 2015 was held as follows,

- Date: Wednesday 10th June 2015
- Venue: Lecture Hall, Shinjuku Historical Museum
-Theme: Commentary on insurance solicitation rules due to the revision of the Insurance Business Act. ---On the basis of the revision of the ordinance for the enforcement of the Insurance Business Act and the supervisory guidelines.
-Lecturer: Hironori Nishikino, Attorney at Law , CHUO SOGO LAW OFFICE,P.C.

Sequentially last year, Mr. Nishikino gave a lecture on the insurance solicitation rules due to the revision of the Insurance Business Act. He commented　on the supervisory guidelines and the response of Financial Services Agency to public comments.
As many as 76 people participated in the workshop mainly from a wide range of departments of member societies of the JCIA such as a management planning, product department, legal affairs and compliance department.
